Intended for: Employee | Application: Web Application
After each completed shift, you can review the recorded time in the My Attendance section and confirm that it matches reality.
Where to Find My Attendance
On the web (app.dayswaps.com) — the My Attendance tab in the left menu.
In the mobile app — Centre → Attendance icon.
How to Review and Approve Attendance
1. Go to the My Attendance section. An overview of the current month will be displayed.
2. At the top you can see statistics: the total number of approved, unapproved, and locked shifts.
3. Find the relevant shift in the columns and check the details: start, end, break.
If you don't see the Break column, click Columns in the top right and add it.
4. Details correct? Click Approve on the right side of the row.
5. Details incorrect? Contact your manager and explain how reality differs from the record. The manager will correct the attendance.
How Long Do I Have to Approve?
There is usually a time limit set for approving attendance (e.g., by the next day or by the end of the week). Once the deadline passes, the system will lock the shift and no approvals or changes will be possible.
Your manager will tell you the specific deadline — it varies for each business.
Can I Also Edit My Attendance?
If your manager allows it (depending on access settings), you can not only approve but also edit your attendance:
1. Click the Edit button next to the relevant shift.
2. Correct the arrival, departure, or break time.
3. Enter the reason for the change in the Note field.
4. Save.
Break editing in attendance is only possible after the shift has ended. You cannot add or change a break for an ongoing shift — it will be available for correction only after you clock out.
If you don't see the edit option, your employer has not enabled it. In that case, contact your manager.
