How a Manager Submits Their Own Absence Request

A manager cannot enter their own absence the same way as for employees — they would be approving it themselves. The correct path is through My Calendar.


Steps

  1. Click on the icon with your initials at the bottom left → the My Calendar tab opens

  2. Click on + Vacation Request in the top right

  3. Fill in the form:

  • Type — vacation, doctor, home office, etc.

  • Date — for a single day, click twice on the same day

  • Contract — if there are multiple contracts, select the correct one

  • Part of day — uncheck "Full Day" to enter specific hours

  • Note / Attachment — for a supervisor, if necessary

  • Repeat — for regularly recurring absences

  1. Click Request Absence

After submission, the request will appear in the calendar with the status request, until it is approved by a supervisor.
