On-Call (Standby Shifts)

Intended for: Manager | Application: Web Application


On-call means the employee is available but not physically at the workplace. On-call hours are not counted towards the working hours fund — only when the on-call is actually used (real activity) do you record the activity, which is then counted towards the fund.


Module activation

Go to Settings → Modules → On-Call → Activate.


Adding an on-call shift

  1. Click on a shift in the calendar.

  2. In the side menu, check On-Call.

  3. Click Save.

The entire shift becomes on-call and is not counted towards the working hours fund.


Recording on-call activity

If the on-call is actually used, record the activity:

  1. Click on the on-call shift.

  2. Go to On-Call Activities.

  3. Enter the activity time (optionally add a description).

Activities are counted towards the working hours fund. Multiple activities can be recorded within a single on-call shift.

Want the employee to record the activity themselves? You need to set the Edit Shifts access for them.

On-call hours report

Go to Office → Reports → Employees and in Columns check On-Call Hours and Active On-Call.
