Attributes are labels for marking shifts — for example Home Office, Training, Business Trip, or Field Visit. They can be tracked in reports and used for anything you want to regularly record on shifts.

Attributes are displayed in the system by their abbreviation — it should be meaningful and distinct from others (e.g. HOM for Home Office, TRN for Training).

The "Duration" Attribute Type
For the Duration attribute, you can set whether the marked portion of the shift counts toward the work fund:
With "Count toward shift duration" checked — hours are recorded as regular working time (suitable e.g. for Training)
Without checking — hours are recorded separately in reports (suitable e.g. for Business Trip, which uses a special payroll code)
Adding an Attribute to a Shift
Open the shift window.
Select the attribute from the left side menu.
For the Duration attribute, set Count / Do Not Count toward duration.
Confirm.
