Day Requirement (Planning Template)

Intended for: Manager | Application: Web Application

Day requirement is a named template of a specific shift combination that you can repeatedly insert into the calendar. It saves time when planning regular operating days.

When to use Day Requirement vs. Copy Day

  • Day requirement — you want to save a shift combination as a named template and reuse it in the future.

  • Copy day — you want to copy the content of one day to another on a one-off basis, without saving a template. Hover over a date in the calendar and choose Copy day.

Creating a Day Requirement template

  1. Schedule all the required shifts on one specific day in the calendar.

  2. Hover your mouse over the date of that day — a context menu will appear.

  3. Choose Save as requirement.

  4. Enter a name for the template and assign it a colour for easier identification.

  5. Click Save.

Inserting a template into the calendar

  1. Hover your mouse over the target date in the calendar.

  2. Choose Insert requirement.

  3. Select the desired template from the list.

  4. Choose the specific days or period into which you want to insert the template.

  5. Click Save.

Overview and editing of saved templates

All saved templates can be found and edited in the Business → Day requirement section.
