Licence Management

Intended for: Manager | Application: Web Application

Licences in Dayswaps determine how many users you pay a subscription for. This article explains how licences work and how to manage them.

What is a licence

A licence = the number of users for whom you have an active subscription. Dayswaps offers four packages:

  • I plan and communicate

  • I automate attendance

  • I use the AI assistant

  • I manage a large company

Each package differs in available features and price per licence.

Increasing the number of licences

Without an added licence, it is not possible to add a new employee to the system. If you need to increase the number of licences:

  1. In the left sidebar menu, click Billing.

  2. Update the subscription — increase the number of licences to the required amount.

  3. The change takes effect immediately and you will be able to add new employees.

Reducing the number of licences

When reducing the number of licences, it is not enough to simply deactivate employees in the system. You must also reduce the number of licences in the billing settings:

  1. First, deactivate the relevant employees (employee card → deactivate).

  2. Go to Billing in the left sidebar menu.

  3. Reduce the number of licences to the currently needed amount.

If you reduce the number of employees but do not reduce the number of licences in billing, you will continue to pay for unused licences.
