Editing an Employee Record

Intended for: Manager | Application: Web Application


All information about an employee can be found and edited in their Employee Card. You can access it by clicking on their name in the Calendar or via Business → People (shows current, past, and hidden employees).


What Can Be Edited in the Employee Card

  • Add or change position

  • Edit the contract and its duration

  • Set the vacation fund

  • And much more — see the Employee Card article

Hidden employee: An employee without scheduled shifts but with access to Dayswaps (e.g. a supervisor, payroll accountant). Settings can be found in the Employee Card → Settings tab.


Editing Contract Size

Applies to businesses without API integration — enter changes directly in the Employee Card.

Standard values:

  • Full-time employment = 160 h/month

  • Half-time = 80 h/month

  • Three-quarter time = 120 h/month

Part-time in general = the corresponding fraction of 160 h.

API integration: If the business is connected via API, changes entered in the external HR system are automatically synced to Dayswaps. Do not edit anything manually.
