Intended for: Manager | Application: Web Application
Access levels determine what rights users have to view and edit individual sections in Dayswaps — each section can be set to Edit, Read, or No Access.
Default Access Levels
Default access levels (Manager, Employee) are described in the article Dayswaps System Access Levels.
How to Create a Custom Access Level
Go to Settings → Access Levels → New Access Level.
Name the access level (e.g. Shift Leader, Employee with Access).
Set permissions for each section: Edit / Read / No Access.
Save.
Configuration Examples
Shift Leader:
Edit: My Calendar, Business Calendar, Office, Communication
Read: Terminal
No Access: Business, Bonuses
Employee with Calendar Access:
Edit: My Calendar
Read: Calendar (entire business)
No Access: Business, Office, Settings
Setting the Default Access Level
The default access level is automatically assigned to every new employee when they are added to the system.
Settings → Access Levels → "Default Access Level" column → check YES for the selected access level
