Intended for: Manager | Application: Web application
The Dashboard is the home page where you can see what's happening in your business today, all in one place: planned hours, who's at work, unfilled shifts and tasks waiting to be resolved. This article explains what each section shows and how to customise the Dashboard.
Where to find the Dashboard
In the web application, click Dashboard in the left menu (the first item above Calendar). The Dashboard shows data for the business selected in the top left.

What you'll see on the Dashboard
The Dashboard has four sections:
Key figures — today's planned hours (with a comparison to last week and a "This week / Last week" chart), today's absences, unfilled shifts and pending requests.
Today's overview — a list of employees with a shift today, showing the shift timeline, clock-in and current status (e.g. At work, Will be at work).
Notifications — items that need your action, e.g. an unfilled shift or unapproved attendance.
Upcoming — approaching events, e.g. public holidays or the hours closing date, with the number of days remaining.
Click Detail next to the Overview or Today's overview section to open it full screen. The Overview detail also shows total hours for the week, hours per day and a list of unfilled shifts with dates. Close the detail with the Close button or the Esc key.
Step-by-step
Click Dashboard in the left menu.
Check the Key figures and, if needed, click Detail for a day-by-day breakdown.
In Today's overview, use the first dropdown to choose which positions to show (e.g. Shop Manager, Shop Assistant).
Use the second dropdown (funnel icon) to filter employees by status: All, At work, Will be at work, Off shift, Late arrival, Shift ended or No attendance record.
In Notifications, click Resolve next to an item — the app takes you to where you can resolve it.
For an unfilled shift, open the arrow next to Resolve and choose Resolve with Daysie (the Daysie assistant helps you) or Resolve manually.
Hide a notification you don't need to act on with the × button.
In Upcoming, check approaching deadlines such as the hours closing date.

Click Done.

Want to go back to the original layout? In the Arrange sections dialog, click Default view.
How to sync shifts with your calendar
In Today's overview, click Calendar sync.
Turn on what should be sent to your calendar: My shifts, All shifts (the whole team's schedule including unfilled shifts) or Shift offers.
Click Connect to Google Calendar, or click Copy link for another calendar and paste the link into your calendar (e.g. Outlook or Apple Calendar).
Close the window with the Close button.
Only published shifts are sent to your calendar. Your calendar fetches changes on its own, usually within a few hours — so new shifts won't appear there immediately.
What if…
…I see a yellow bar saying there's no connected terminal?
Without a connected attendance terminal, the Off shift and Late arrival statuses and actual clock-in times can't be determined. Empty values for these statuses don't mean zero — they mean the data source is missing. Click Connect terminal → to connect one.
…an employee shows "Clock-in: No attendance record"?
There is no attendance record for today's shift yet. In that case, the At work status is based on the planned shift, not the actual clock-in.
