Intended for: Manager | Application: DS PRO
Use this article when you want to decide which important days (e.g. public holidays, the hours closing date or a stocktake) managers see in the Upcoming section of the Dashboard. You'll learn where to find the setting and how to add days for each country for the whole year.
Before you start
Only the organization owner can edit important days. Other DS PRO users can't see or change this page.
Important days are set for the whole organization separately for each country — so stores in Czechia can have different days than stores in Slovakia or Hungary.
You enter days for the whole year, organized by month.
If you don't see the Upcoming important days page in Settings, you don't have the organization owner role. Ask the owner to make the change for you.
Where to find it
In DS PRO, open Settings and select the Upcoming important days subpage.
Step-by-step
Open Settings in DS PRO.
Click the Upcoming important days subpage.
Select the country you want to set important days for.
Select the year and find the month the day belongs to.
Add an important day — enter its date and name (e.g. Hours closing date).
Repeat step 5 for other days in the year.
Save your changes.
Saved days appear on the Dashboard of store managers in that country, in the Upcoming section — together with the number of days remaining. Learn more about the Dashboard in How to Use the Dashboard.
What if…
…a manager doesn't see an important day on the Dashboard?
Check that the day is set for the country of the manager's store and that the changes were saved. The Dashboard shows only approaching days. The manager may also have hidden the Upcoming section via Arrange sections — they can show it again the same way.
